Overview
Fatoni University is the first private Islamic higher education institution of Thailand founded by local Muslim scholars and academics in the areas of Islamic studies.
The university was founded on the 3rd April 1992 under the name of Yala Islamic College. With regard to its potential and continuous development, it was accredited as Yala Islamic University in 2007.
Yala Islamic University was renamed Fatoni University on the 31st October 2013, which has been issued by Ministry of Education.
