Those who obtain student visas are also allowed to work as a part-time up to 20 hours per week but you have to make sure you can balance it with your class schedule too.
Living in Queenstown
Living condition in Queenstown is all right but requires good planning. There is a public bus available and you often see people use bicycles too. There are shops, groceries, and restaurants in the city center. People are generally friendly because it is a tourism city. You can choose to stay with a local host family provided by your school. You can also choose to stay in a student dormitory or a shared apartment with your friends. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience those adventurous sports such as speed boat riding, bungee jumping, or Skydiving. On the weekend you can simply go skiing or take a road trip to Milford Sounds to see the real beauty of nature. Mirror lakes can be seen along the way.
