     Spain or the Kingdom of Spain is a developed country and a high-income country, which is bordered to the Mediterranean Sea, Portugal, France, and Andorra. With a population closed to 48 million, Spain is the sixth-most populous country in Europe and the fourth in the European Union. Its capital and largest city is Madrid, and other major cities are Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Malaga, and Bilbao. Spain’s capitalist mixed economy is the fourteen largest in the world and ranked fifth in the European Union. Its major international partnerships are Latin America and one of the reasons is they are culturally close. They have also expanded to Asia, especially in China and India.

     Besides being one of the largest automobile producer countries in the world, tourism also plays an important role in Spain’s economy. There are around 80 million visitors every year and it makes Spain the second or third most visited country in the world after France and/or the United States. The headquarters of the World Tourism Organization is also located in Madrid. There are 47 World Heritage Sites in Spain. Some of their most visited are Works of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct in Segovia and Historic Center in Cordoba. The country’s most visited place of all time is Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, which is also one of the iconic of Spain.

     Spain is a Western country and because they were permeated by Roman heritage, which makes Spain becomes one of the major Latin countries in Europe. Spain has beautiful coastlines, diverse landscapes, historical legacy, vibrant culture, Mediterranean climate, and excellent infrastructure. There are so many places to visit and lots of activities you can do in Spain. Spanish’s art, architecture, cuisine, and music are beautifully unique. Every place has its own story and history. Study in Spain should be a part of you.

     Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world, which makes it a popular destination for foreign students. There are many good language institutions in major cities. Taking a long-term language courses is popular and their courses open all year round. There are also many good international high schools here. Some of their famous colleges and universities are the University of Valencia, Pablo de Olavide University, and The University of Granada. The tuition and living expenses here are considered fair but requires good planning and management. For example, the traveling cost is costly. If you plan to travel to other cities, you just have to buy your train ticket earlier and reserve your accommodation in advance. Studying in Spain will definitely help grooming you for better management and preparation.

Living your life in Spain

     Studying and living in Spain is quite convenient. Its public transportation is excellent. Spain has the most extensive high-speed rail network in Europe and the second-most extensive in the world after China. They also have a public bus available. There are also varieties of food and restaurants. There are many shops, grocery stores, and local markets. Living in Spain can be very affordable depends on your choice of living styles. You can choose to live with your friends in a shared apartment or a student dormitory or stay with a local host family provided by your schools so that you will get to practice your language after class with local people and you will also get learn about their cultures as well.

     In your free time, you can just sit in a park with a book and a cup of coffee or visit their cathedrals and palaces that spread nationwide, such as Valencia Cathedral and The Alhambra Palace and the Genetica Park in Granada. There are also many interesting museums, especially the Prado Museum and Paseo del Art in Madrid, which is among the world’s most magnificent art museums with countless Masterpieces. Watching football is a great crazy time you might feel because people here are crazy about it. There is much more to enjoy in Spain, like its baroque architecture or neo-gothic art of the famous architect Antonio Goudy. Their dishes, such as Pulpo a la Gallega or Leche Frita or Tortilla de Patatas. You could also enjoy its traditional Flamingo dance and learn to adapt yourself to Spanish culture while studying in Spain.
